So Michelle and I found this train not too far from here. How nice of them to decorate for us! After the operators got fed up with us we left and came up with the rest.
So then I made these. Not sure what I was going for here, but I kinda like the results. The second one is supposed to be the girl, in the center, but then again on either side, stripped of emotion and 'human-ness'.
It was 70ºF when I went for a walk through these local gardens. Fall is here, but this was the last gasp from Summer before the wicked winds roll in. From here on out it's numb fingers and blue toes at the next shoot I'm sure!
This is DJ Robyn Chaos, and this was her drum & base show, Anger Management. She holds these 'therapy sessions' all over the world, so should you ever find yourself in Eastern Europe, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Holland, Japan, UK, Belgium, Hawaii, Australia and/or New Zealand, look her up.
I had the opportunity to shoot an engagement session for Erin and Greg recently. It was a beautiful day at Princeton University, with perfect weather. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Ok, so we had to grease the gatekeeper with cash, but it was worth it. With access to these shipyards, we couldn't complain. The ambient stench and floating filth just added to the charm of these practically abandoned docks. To view the full set from this shoot (basic proofs, no retouching), click here, then click the 'clients' button, and enter 'shipyard' as the password.
This medium sized rodent passed away peacefully due to old age, and was immortalized thusly. Immersed in stepwise fashion in all manner of ghastly chemicals, it's fur, skin, organs and other bits and pieces were slowly dissolved away, leaving only the bones and some connective tissue behind. Bone stained red, connective tissue blue. Behold.
A while back I had the opportunity to photograph a friend of mine play at a local pub. There was good music, good drinks, and and overall good time. Here's a few outtakes from the night.
So I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Laney Lane recently. A prolific model and budding photographer herself, Laney and I had a great time at this latest shoot. And you know I had to include this amazing kitchen which was like a dedicated set in itself.
You heard right, it happens on the second Friday of every month. Mix one part burlesque (not shown here!) and one part freak show, and you have Second Friday. Organized by a talented bunch of art students down in Philly, it's quite a scene, and a wonderful photo op. Looking forward to September's show...
So I went climbing recently, mostly by accident. The plan was to simply photograph a few friends on their climb. I had absolutely no intention of climbing, as I have what I'm told is a fear of falling. One minute I'm happily snapping away, and the next I'm climbing for my life up Mt. Everest. Ok, so it's not even remotely that bad, but I was still nervous, sweaty palms and all. But much to my amazement, I made it up without falling to my doom. Am I glad I did it? Yes. Will I do it again? No. I was granted this one reprieve, I'm not gonna push it!
