High Rocks

So I went climbing recently, mostly by accident. The plan was to simply photograph a few friends on their climb. I had absolutely no intention of climbing, as I have what I'm told is a fear of falling. One minute I'm happily snapping away, and the next I'm climbing for my life up Mt. Everest. Ok, so it's not even remotely that bad, but I was still nervous, sweaty palms and all. But much to my amazement, I made it up without falling to my doom. Am I glad I did it? Yes. Will I do it again? No. I was granted this one reprieve, I'm not gonna push it!

Energy Efficiency

Shedding some new light on the humble bulb. Yes, this bulb was blazing away while I painted tonight. But at 1/6400th of a second, I was able to tame this thing. (click on the image to see a larger version!)
