High Rocks

So I went climbing recently, mostly by accident. The plan was to simply photograph a few friends on their climb. I had absolutely no intention of climbing, as I have what I'm told is a fear of falling. One minute I'm happily snapping away, and the next I'm climbing for my life up Mt. Everest. Ok, so it's not even remotely that bad, but I was still nervous, sweaty palms and all. But much to my amazement, I made it up without falling to my doom. Am I glad I did it? Yes. Will I do it again? No. I was granted this one reprieve, I'm not gonna push it!

Decided to take a few more at the ole Sayen Gardens recently.

Jaye and Magdalena

It's just been too darn cold outside, so Jaye and Magda were kind enough to lounge around inside.

Lauren

A big high-five goes go out to Lauren, who showed up ready to rock n' roll. Thanks for braving the cold and being a true professional!

Energy Efficiency

Shedding some new light on the humble bulb. Yes, this bulb was blazing away while I painted tonight. But at 1/6400th of a second, I was able to tame this thing. (click on the image to see a larger version!)

New Kids on the Blog

With my own new kid on the way, I figured I'd take a look back at some of my favorite kid pics taken over the last year or so. And now for a shameless plug: Don't forget, if you like what you see, get in touch and let's make a photography date with your child!

Guitar Hero

This is Julie, and my attempt at a different take on the standard guitar pic. To help get you in the mood, I've included some Bugs Bunny lyrics from 'Hillbilly Hare'. Enjoy.

Now into the brook and fish for the trout, Dive right in and splash about. Trout, trout, pretty little trout, One more splash and come right out.
