Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
One of the best decisions I've ever made was to begin the journey of jiu jitsu. It's positive effects on the mind and the body are immeasurable. I'm a member at the acclaimed Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, and despite the bruises, soreness and sore throats, I'll never look back. These are a few shots from live training after one of the black belt classes.
Derelict Trains of Wycombe and New Hope, PA
I'm a huge fan of old, abandoned, forgotten places. These fossilized trains are just such places, where the bugs and plant life are the only passengers remaining.
2013 MLB All-Star Game
I had the opportunity to shoot the 2013 MLB All-Star Game at Citi Field. I was fortunate enough to have on-field access during batting practice, so I was able to get some interesting snaps.
Edwin Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge
Took a nice trip to a couple wildlife refuges down in south Jersey. Managed to see or photograph 35 different bird species that day. Saw my first (and only) official Baltimore Oriole here. I won't post any pics of the thing though because they're simply not post-worthy. Instead, I'll hang up these egrets and ibis' and one very black snake...
Cape May Point State Park
The wildlife coming in and out of this place is fantastic. I saw countless species in a single day. I think my favorite would have to be the oyster catcher.
