Jane's Addiction

It's such a strange experience to be standing next to and photographing the very bands that helped define one's youth.  That's what it was like for me to shoot Jane's Addiction at The Mann.  A surreal experience.  The only real problem with this, is that as a 'professional' photographer with a pit pass, you're only allowed to shoot the first three songs of the set.  Once your time's up, a group of sweaty, frantic security enforcers hurriedly usher you out, as though something terrible would happen if heaven forbid you were there slightly longer.  This results in a frantic scramble for pictures, all while struggling with constantly variable lighting, no lighting, purple lighting, the list goes on.  But I guess that's part of the excitement too.
