Conowingo Dam

This place is amazing.  Tons of Bald Eagles roosting here, and the real magic happens when they periodically release water from the dam into the river.  This has the effect of churning up fish as they're sucked through.  That's when the eagles descend to scoop up the free floating fish tacos.  Nine times out of ten there's a second bird who'd rather snatch the fish from the first guy's claws.  The only downside to Conowingo is that all the action happens far away from where you're standing; real far.  Ideally, you'd use the Hubble.  But since it's floating derelict in space, you're left to fend for yourself with whatever you happen to have.  In my case, I was lucky enough to shoot with a borrowed 800mm prime.  Unfortunately the lighting was terrible the day I went.  Under better circumstances, the 800 would've been much more effective.
